Privacy Policy
Golazo Manager is a football manager game for iPhone and Android made by Softick Development ("Softick", "we", "us"). It runs on your device, works offline, and has no accounts, no ads and no tracking. This policy explains what information is involved when you play, why, and the choices you have.
The Short Version
There is no sign-in, and your careers stay on your device. The game sends Softick information in only three cases: anonymous usage statistics, if you choose to share them (nothing is sent until you say yes); a check of your purchase with Google when you buy or restore the full game on Google Play; and a feedback report, when you send one. The game never sends Softick your name, payment details, contacts, precise location, advertising ID or any other device identifier, and we do not sell or share information for advertising.
What Stays on Your Device
- Your career saves: clubs, players, results and your progress
- Your settings: language, match speed, match view, vibration and your answer about usage statistics
- Whether the full game is unlocked on this device
This information stays in the game's private storage on your device and is removed when you delete the app. Apart from the three cases below, it is not sent to Softick. Your device's own backups (iCloud or Google) may include it, under Apple's or Google's terms.
Anonymous Usage Statistics (Only If You Agree)
The first time you open the game, it asks whether you want to help improve Golazo Manager by sharing anonymous usage stats. Nothing is sent unless you answer Yes; closing the question counts as No. You can change your answer at any time with the "Share anonymous usage stats" switch in Settings. While the switch is off, the game sends no statistics, keeps none to send later, and deletes any it had not sent yet.
While the switch is on, the game sends these statistics to our own server at softick.dev, run by Softick:
- a random install ID that the game creates on your device, and a random ID for each play session. These IDs are not tied to your device, its advertising ID or who you are
- the platform (Android or iOS), the app version, your phone's language setting and the game's language
- what happens in the game and when: play sessions; the club, league and country you pick for a new career; matches played (the result, the competition, and whether you watched in 3D or 2D or took a quick result); how each season ended (your final position, promotion, relegation, titles and cup results); transfers (buy or sell, and a price range); formation and language changes; when the full game's page is shown; purchases and restores
- your approximate country, which our network provider works out from the connection. Our server sees your IP address only while it handles the request, to protect itself from abuse; the IP address itself is not stored, and these requests are not written to our server's access logs
We use the statistics only to understand how the game is played and to improve it (for example, to balance the seasons and fix what players find hard), not for advertising or tracking, and we do not sell them or share them with anyone.
Purchases
The first season of every career is free. The full game is a one-time in-app purchase handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Softick never sees your payment details, name or email address. The store confirms the purchase to the game, so it can unlock the full game and restore it on another device. Apple's and Google's privacy policies apply to the payment.
Google Play purchase checks. When you buy the full game on Google Play, or the game finds it on your Google account (for example on a new phone), the game sends our server the order ID, the purchase token (Google's identifier for the purchase), the product, the price and currency shown to you, and the random install ID. Our server checks the purchase with Google, which also tells us the country of the purchase. We use this to confirm that a purchase is genuine before the game unlocks, to prevent fraud and to handle refunds (Google tells us when a purchase is refunded or canceled). These checks are part of delivering your purchase, so they happen whether or not usage statistics are switched on. App Store purchases are confirmed by Apple to the game on your device and are not sent to Softick.
Feedback You Send
If you send feedback from the game (Settings, Support, Feedback), nothing leaves your phone until you tap Send. The report goes to our server and from there to a private Telegram channel that only the Golazo team reads. It contains what you write and, if you add it, where we can answer you; a random ID that groups your reports (not the statistics install ID); technical details that help us fix problems (the game and system versions, phone model, screen, memory, the game's settings, and your club, season and the page you were on); and, if you leave those switches on, a picture of the game's screen, your career's save and the game's recent log. We use reports only to answer you and to fix and improve the game.
How Long We Keep It
- Usage statistics: the individual events are deleted automatically after 180 days. After that we keep only aggregated counts (such as how many careers reached a second season in a week) and a basic record of each install ID: when it was first and last seen, its platform, app version, language and country.
- Purchase records: as long as we need them for accounting, tax and fraud prevention. The log of each purchase check stores a one-way hash instead of the purchase token and is deleted after 180 days.
- Feedback reports and support messages: only as long as needed to help you and fix the game, and deleted on request.
Who Else Sees Your Information
We share information only as described here: Google handles Google Play purchases and answers our purchase checks, and Apple handles App Store purchases; Telegram delivers feedback reports to our private channel; our hosting and network providers (such as Cloudflare, which tells our server the approximate country of a connection) process data for us only to provide their service; and we disclose information when the law requires it or to protect players and the game from fraud and abuse. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for advertising.
Children
Golazo Manager is made for a general audience. It does not ask for personal information: the usage statistics are anonymous and off unless switched on, and a feedback report holds contact details only if someone types them. If you believe a child sent us personal information in a feedback report, through our support form or by email, contact us and we will delete it.
Contacting Us
If you email us or use the support form on this website, we receive what you send, such as your name, email address, device and message, and use it only to answer you. Messages from the form are delivered through our email provider. We keep support messages only as long as needed to help you and delete them on request.
Your Choices and Rights
You can say no to usage statistics, or switch them off in Settings at any time, and deleting the app removes the game information on your device. The statistics and purchase records we hold are linked only to a random install ID, not to your name, so we usually cannot tell which records are yours: if you want us to find or delete them, email us with anything that identifies them (for example a Google Play order ID) and we will help, keeping only the purchase records the law requires. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, to object to or restrict its use, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your local data protection authority. We do not sell personal information.
Changes
If a future version uses information in another way, such as cloud saves, we will update this policy before it ships and change the effective date above.
